AGE3 OBSERVER MAP

This is the TAD mapset with enabled observer mode for teams of 2v2 and 3v3

INSTRUCTIONS:

Copy the files to the user RM3 folder, where custom maps are placed

The maps can be easily found in the custom maps dropdown menu, as each map has a space before its name

For random games with one observer, assign the extra player (P5 or P7) any team (1 or 2)

For random games with two observers, split the extra players in separate teams (P5 and P6 or P7 and P8)

Always assign the observer a team, or else the computer can distribute players in teams with an unequal numbe
r of players (2v3 or 3v4) and resign the extra player who might have been randomly distributed in the smaller team,
so the game can result in unbalanced matches (1v3 or 2v4 with a resigned observer from the smaller team).

Some maps which are rarely played or are all-water maps (such as Ceylon, Caribbean and Honshu) haven't been
included in this set, since it's very unlikely they will be used for observer games.

A few custom maps which have been added by later patches (such as Dakota Badlands) haven't been included in
this set either, but some of the fanpatch maps have been included (such as Ozarks). Please note that the maps
in this set feature the fanpatch 1.2, balanced version of the original ES maps. The Great Plains 2v2 and 3v3
observer maps include the resource balance solutions used in the New AS Great Plains version.
